Meet Sondra: Curator of Heartfelt Homes
Growing up, the dinner table was the heart of our home. My mother, who immigrated from Vietnam for love, built a beautiful life for our family despite having very little. Dining out was a rare luxury, but that never mattered - because she made every meal special. She poured her love into cooking, creating a space where we could gather, share stories, and find peace in the midst of life’s chaos.
My father worked tirelessly to provide for us, and my mother made sure our home was a place of warmth, comfort, and connection. No matter what was happening in the world outside, we always had the sanctuary of our dinner table.
After years in corporate America and pursuing different passions, I realized that what I truly wanted was to create that same sense of home - a sacred space filled with beauty, joy, and togetherness. That dream became The Whimsical Peacock.

Meet Karin: (pronounced like “Car-in the garage”).
Your enchantress of Joyful Living - I was raised by a German mother in a Southern family in Tucker, GA. We were not rich, but we always hosted big holiday dinners with massive buffets, which is where my love for entertaining began.
I’ve been a life-long educator, starting as a school teacher, then host to my own tv segment, “Karin’s Korner” on WSB/ABC-TV in Atlanta. After spending 8 years married to the Atlanta Braves Organization, hosting celebrities and planning annual charity events, I reinvented several times (divorce does that to you) and dipped my toe in public relations, event planning and restaurant promotion.
I later became a licensed therapist, best-selling author, spiritual coach, podcaster and entrepreneur. My deepest passion is helping people find their true power through energetic alignment with their true joy - which includes their home. I now live very happily in the Buckhead area as a single Mom to 3 teenagers and 2 rescue dogs.
In my free time, I’m planning parties (duh), dancing to 80’s music in the kitchen or trail-walking my dogs searching for hawk feathers. Life is meant to be filled with magic, and I am here to help you find yours. One party at a time.
